 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 Technology Strategy &amp; Execution
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Define and execute the Egypt technology roadmap in line with Pay10&rsquo;s global strategy and CBE regulatory framework.
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee all technical activities including product development, integrations, data, and infrastructure for Pay10 Egypt&rsquo;s PSP platform.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure strong alignment with Pay10&rsquo;s global technology and product teams for platform interoperability and innovation.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Architecture &amp; Product Engineering
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Lead the buildout of Pay10&rsquo;s Egypt payment platform, covering acquiring, issuing, WPS, wallets, payment gateway, and cross-border functionalities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Design secure, scalable microservices-based architectures, ensuring compliance-by-design and high system availability.
 </li>
 <li>
 Implement modular architecture supporting future expansion across MENA and Africa.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Leadership &amp; Team Management
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Build and lead a local engineering and DevOps team in Egypt; mentor developers, QA, and solution architects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Foster a culture of security-first development, agility, and innovation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Serve as a key decision-maker for infrastructure, vendor partnerships, and technical strategy.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Compliance, InfoSec &amp; Risk
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Ensure technical readiness for CBE audits, PCI-DSS, and data protection standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee security controls including access management, encryption, monitoring, and incident response.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work with global and local Risk, Compliance, and InfoSec teams on fraud prevention, AML/CTF systems, and data governance.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Platform Operations &amp; DevOps
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Maintain high platform reliability (99.9% uptime), fast CI/CD deployments, and robust observability.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead cloud infrastructure strategy (preferably AWS or hybrid), ensuring scalability, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.
 </li>
 <li>
 Establish proactive monitoring and incident management processes aligned with SLAs.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Stakeholder &amp; Partner Management
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Collaborate with local banks, card schemes, payment facilitators, APM providers, and vendors to expand Pay10 Egypt&rsquo;s PSP ecosystem.
 </li>
 <li>
 Represent the technology function in CBE, partner, and internal steering meetings.
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive local integrations and partnerships to enhance product capabilities and market reach.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications &amp; Experience
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 10&ndash;15 years of technology leadership experience, with at least 5 years in fintech, digital payments, or PSPs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven track record in building or scaling payment systems (acquiring, issuing, wallet, or gateway).
 </li>
 <li>
 Deep understanding of CBE regulations, PCI-DSS, ISO20022, SWIFT, Open Banking APIs, and Egypt&rsquo;s local payment ecosystem (Meeza, Instapay, etc.).
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working with CBE licensing processes and local banking integrations is highly advantageous.
 </li>
 <li>
 Technical expertise in Java/.NET/Golang, microservices, Kubernetes, APIs, event-driven systems, and modern database technologies (SQL/NoSQL).
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience managing cross-border platform integrations or regional fintech rollouts preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Fluent in English and Arabic (business and technical communication).
 </li>
