Information Technology Manager

Position Overview

Pay10 Egypt is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead and manage technology initiatives across our payments ecosystem. This role will report directly to the Head of Technology and will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for customer and merchant-facing payment solutions, including Payment Applications, Prepaid Cards, Open Banking, Core Banking Systems (CBS), Payment Gateways, and back-office platforms (CRM, Transaction Monitoring, AML/CFT, and Fraud Management).
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility.
• Review and interpret functional specifications, API documentation, and manage integrations with third-party service providers.
• Oversee and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring system readiness and quality assurance prior to deployment.
• Monitor product performance post-deployment and coordinate with internal teams to resolve bugs and optimize system functionality.
• Implement robust risk management frameworks to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation across the full project lifecycle, ensuring audit and regulatory readiness.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Technology, and Operations teams to enhance system capabilities and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage internal and external stakeholders, tracking progress across development stages and ensuring timely delivery.
• Identify and recommend appropriate tools, platforms, and environments (development, QA, monitoring) to support project execution.
• Handle dynamic project challenges, including shifting priorities, resource constraints, and unforeseen disruptions.
• Drive problem-solving, decision-making, and effective time and team management across multiple concurrent projects.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience in IT project management within the payments, fintech, or financial services domain.
• Strong understanding of full-stack development environments, including frontend frameworks (e.g., Angular, Flutter) and backend technologies (Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, MVC, Microservices).
• Hands-on experience with API integrations and third-party system connectivity.
• Proficiency in database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL.
• Working knowledge of code repositories and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience working with both Windows and Linux-based environments.
• Familiarity with AI-driven solutions and innovation in technology projects is an added advantage.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams.
