Job Title: Accounts Receivable / Insurance Claims Specialist Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:<ul><li>Competitive compensation</li><li>Group healthcare</li><li>Respectful and professional work environment</li></ul>Full Job Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable / Insurance Claims Specialist to support all aspects of the insurance claim cycle, reporting metrics, and documentation control.This position requires a detail-oriented, organized, and motivated self-starter who can work independently, manage a high volume of work, and follow through on unresolved accounts while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. Candidates with payment posting experience are strongly preferred.Essential Functions:<ul><li>Research and secure payment for aged accounts receivable</li><li>Review accounts for timely filing requirements</li><li>Evaluate reimbursements for correct contract payment application</li><li>Resolve claim denials and monitor resubmission status</li><li>Record and maintain claim-related correspondence</li><li>Prepare periodic reports and metrics</li><li>Handle incoming and outgoing calls with insurance carriers and patients</li><li>Review credit balance accounts</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Associate degree or 2+ years of equivalent work experience required</li><li>Ability to work independently and take initiative as a self-starter</li><li>Strong mathematical aptitude and organizational skills</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite</li><li>Ability to handle a high volume of work with daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines</li><li>Ability to identify inconsistencies and adapt to process changes</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills</li><li>Ability to work successfully in a team-oriented environment</li><li>10-key proficiency</li><li>Ability to remain seated for extended periods of time</li></ul>Position Summary: This role is responsible for insurance follow-up, denial resolution, reimbursement review, reporting, and documentation management.
