Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will support the organization&rsquo;s financial operations by performing accurate data entry, account reconciliations, and processing transactions across various accounting functions.Responsibilities<ul><li>Enter and maintain financial data accurately.</li><li>Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.</li><li>Prepare journal entries for general ledger transactions.</li><li>Conduct balance sheet reconciliations regularly to verify account accuracy and identify discrepancies for resolution.</li><li>Assist with month-end closing activities, including account analysis and ledger review, supporting overall financial reporting processes.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Prior experience in accounting roles involving data entry, bookkeeping, or account reconciliation is highly preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with QuickBooks Online.</li><li>Knowledge of financial concepts including debits &amp; credits, journal entries, general ledger reconciliation, and double-entry bookkeeping.</li><li>Familiarity with job costing.</li><li>Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel and good overall computer skills.</li><li>3 - 5 years experience preferred.</li></ul>Pay: $17.50 - $22.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
