This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in pediatrics while making a meaningful difference in patients&rsquo; lives.Duties<ul><li>Perform patient intake by collecting comprehensive medical histories and documenting current health concerns with accuracy and sensitivity.</li><li>Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rate to assist clinicians in assessing patient status.</li><li>Prepare patients for examinations or procedures by explaining processes clearly and ensuring comfort throughout their visit.</li><li>Assist healthcare providers during various medical procedures including injections, medication administration and basic treatments.</li><li>Support clinical documentation through accurate use of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, including ICD coding for diagnoses and procedures.</li><li>Conduct basic laboratory tasks such as specimen collection or processing when needed.</li><li>Manage medical supplies and equipment inventory to ensure readiness.</li><li>Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, offering reassurance, and coordinating follow-up care instructions with families.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential or equivalent certification preferred; relevant experience highly valued.</li><li>Prior clinic experience in pediatric settings is strongly preferred;</li><li>Knowledge of physiology, anatomy and medical terminology.</li><li>Proficiency in using EHR systems for documentation and order entry; ability to navigate information systems efficiently.</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient care to children of all ages and their families.</li></ul>Pay: From $17.00 per hourExpected hours: 36.0 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Pediatric Medical Assistant: 2 years (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
