<div>JOB SUMMARY
The Bio SalesMarketing Manager leads the development and execution of sales strategies and marketing initiatives to drive growth for our biological products. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, building brand awareness, and supporting the company's overall revenue objectives. As part of a small and agile organization, the Manager will work closely with production, quality, and leadership teams to align commercial goals with operational capabilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES, FUNCTIONS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Management<ul><li>
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for biological products.</li><li>
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in key markets (e.g., research labs, biotech companies, healthcare providers, agriculture, or veterinary sectors-customize as needed).</li><li>
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular communication, support, and problem resolution.</li><li>
Prepare and deliver product presentations, sales proposals, and pricing quotes.</li><li>
Manage sales pipeline, forecasts, and monthly/quarterly reporting.</li><li>
Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitor activity, and emerging trends.</li></ul>
Marketing Management<ul><li>
Create and implement marketing plans, campaigns, and product launch strategies.</li><li>
Work with team of developers, creative agencies, graphic designers, freelancers, internal stakeholders to maintain world class online presence.</li><li>
Coordinate technical marketing campaigns (email, social media, paid ads, lead generation efforts) and monitor ROI.</li><li>
Lead generation of technical marketing assets (flyers, catalogs, e-commerce content, blogs, social etc)</li><li>
Be responsible for Bio division digital presence (website, distributor listings, etc).</li><li>
Lead e-commerce catalog expansion.</li><li>
Coordinate trade show participation, industry events, and promotional activities.</li><li>
Collaborate with internal teams to prepare technical marketing materials, FAQs, and customer education resources.</li><li>
Serve as a central hub between R&amp;D, sales, customer support and manage the process flow and marketing needs.</li><li>
Assisting with conference planning and related technical outreach/follow-up</li></ul>
Cross-Functional Collaboration<ul><li>
Work with Production and Quality teams to communicate customer demand, forecast needs, and support product availability.</li><li>
Provide customer feedback to R&amp;D to support product improvement and innovation.</li><li>
Assist leadership with strategic planning, pricing models, and market positioning.</li></ul>
EDUCATIONRELATED EXPERIENCE<ul><li>
Bachelor's degree in a life science field required (Biology, Bioengineering, Immunology, etc.)</li><li>
Advanced degree (PhD ideal) in a life science field preferred (Biology, Bioengineering, Immunology, etc.)</li><li>
Experience in the life science consumables sector (serums/plasmas/proteins/antibodies/reagents) preferred.</li><li>
3-5+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably in biologicals, biotechnology, or life sciences.</li><li>
Experience working in a small or growing company environment is a plus.</li><li>
A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to be covered under the Company's automobile insurance.</li></ul>
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES<ul><li>
Experience in paid ads/social media management.</li><li>
Experience in website and technical marketing collateral generation.</li><li>
Experience with HubSpot or similar.</li><li>
Ability to generate effective technical marketing campaigns with minimal direction.</li><li>
Ability to communicate and coordinate with web developers, copywriters, graphic designers.</li><li>
Ability to supervise a team of customer service representatives.</li><li>
Ability to manage the sales process flow and support/implement automations.</li><li>
Experience with Python strongly preferred.</li><li>
Ability to support parallel marketing efforts for the sister meat company.</li><li>
Willing to relocate to Arkansas strongly preferred or willing to spend at least one week/month here to get integrated with product development efforts.</li><li>
Willingness to attend tradeshows as needed.</li></ul>
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES AND INTERACTIONS WITH OTHERS
The Bio Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing and directing the activities of the Bio Sales personnel and will regularly delegate responsibilities to subordinates. Additionally, the role will be expected to frequently interact with co-workers, management, and the general public.
