Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician and become a vital part of ensuring comfort, safety, and efficiency across a variety of light commercial and residential properties. In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, and related mechanical equipment. Your expertise will help optimize indoor air quality and climate control while supporting property maintenance operations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment where your technical knowledge makes a real difference.Duties<ul><li>Perform repair and maintenance of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, heat pumps, air handlers and IAQ products.</li><li>Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC manuals to accurately troubleshoot issues.</li><li>Conduct field service visits to diagnose problems using tools such as ohmmeters and brazing equipment; execute repairs efficiently to minimize downtime.</li><li>Maintain and repair plumbing systems associated with HVAC units to ensure optimal operation.</li><li>Support property maintenance tasks by inspecting mechanical systems and ensuring compliance with safety standards.</li><li>Operate vehicles such as a service truck or van to job sites; adhere to all safety protocols during fieldwork.</li><li>Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform brazing, equipment repair, and troubleshooting of complex HVAC systems involving R32, R454B &amp; other refrigerants.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>3-5 years HVAC experience required</li><li>Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC systems service and preventative maintenance.</li><li>Knowledge of construction practices related to HVAC installation and property maintenance projects.</li><li>Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design documents accurately.</li><li>Mechanical skills including brazing, residential equipment troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.</li><li>Familiarity with field service procedures; experience using tools such as ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics.</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license; clean driving record preferred.</li><li>Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience in HVAC systems or mechanic roles; certification in HVAC is advantageous.
