 <div>Penhall Company is recruiting a Heavy Equipment Operator to join it's team. This position is responsible for safely operating heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, and loaders to support construction, demolition, and concrete removal projects. This role involves equipment maintenance, material handling, and working closely with field crews to ensure job site efficiency and safety. You'll also perform maintenance tasks such as greasing, cleaning and inspecting equipment. Must be willing and able to work extended shifts, including nights and weekends, when required.
This position is deemed as a Safety Sensitive position and will require negative result for preemployment Drug and Alcohol testing in order to complete offer of employment for anyone who will be operating heavy equipment or company vehicles.
This position is covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with the Operating Engineers Local 3 union. Will be required to join the union and maintain membership in good standing. Current Local 169 members welcome to apply. Pay rate is union scale.
Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Operate heavy construction equipment including excavators, front-end loaders, skid steers, and related machinery.
</li><li>Load dump trucks with broken concrete using appropriate equipment.
</li><li>Break concrete using an excavator with hydraulic breaker attachments.
</li><li>Operate machinery in support of building, bridge, and highway construction or demolition.
</li><li>Inspect, fuel, and maintain equipment at the beginning and end of each shift.
</li><li>Communicate clearly with dispatch and job site supervisors regarding tasks and updates.
</li><li>Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to equipment as needed.
</li><li>Accurate completion of work orders and time cards.
</li><li>Complete all necessary paperwork (may include, but is not limited to, daily logs, inspection logs, equipment inspection, hours of service, etc.)
</li><li>Deal with co-workers, customers and the public in a courteous and respectful manner.
</li><li>Communicate any unsafe conditions or accidents/injuries in a timely manner to the supervisor in order to facilitate prompt correction or reporting.
</li><li>Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures.
</li><li>Assist team members and perform other job-related duties as assigned.

 <div>The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in supporting the branch&rsquo;s daily operations by providing professional and efficient administrative support. This position interacts with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate execution of business processes, contributing to the overall success of the branch. This is a full-time position, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. This is an onsite position; remote work is not offered for this role.
Duties and Responsibilities
<ul><li>Process billing and assist with collections to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and cash flow.
</li><li>Compile employee time, production data, and payroll records, including certified payroll, in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
</li><li>Support new employee onboarding including paperwork, safety training scheduling, and DOT compliance through DISA software.
</li><li>Serve as the first point of contact by answering incoming calls, handling routine inquiries, and directing more complex matters to the appropriate personnel.
</li><li>Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and documentation for internal use, including analysis and data comparisons as needed.
</li><li>Manage the execution and routing of contracts, subcontracts, and change-order documents for supervisor review and signature.
</li><li>Coordinate mail services, shipping/receiving of packages, and manage office supply deliveries and inventory.
</li><li>Arrange travel, hotel accommodations, and per diem logistics for field staff in accordance with project requirements.
</li><li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the company, including field staff, operations, sales, and administrative teams in other branches and at corporate headquarters.
</li><li>Assist with additional administrative tasks and projects as assigned by the supervisor, contributing to smooth and effective branch operations.
