This paid position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in healthcare and social services.Duties<ul><li>Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support</li><li>Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition</li><li>Support medication administration following HIPAA regulations and care plans</li><li>Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet individual dietary needs</li><li>Operate equipment such as Hoyer lifts and ensure safe patient transfers while adhering to safety protocols</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning and sanitation tasks</li><li>Document patient observations, care activities, and incident reports accurately and promptly</li><li>Collaborate with nursing staff, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans</li><li>Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being</li><li>Follow all safety procedures including CPR, First Aid, and emergency response protocols</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care environments</li><li>Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or memory care needs</li><li>Strong patient observation skills to detect changes in condition or behavior</li><li>Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary</li><li>Familiarity with HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of patient information</li><li>Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents and team members</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative caregiving team</li><li>Experience in medication administration and vital signs monitoring is highly desirable</li><li>Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for others</li></ul>Join us if you&rsquo;re passionate about providing exceptional care in a supportive environment!
