<div>Payroll Specialist Full Time, Springfield, MA 
Pay Range - $23.00 - $25.00 per hour 
 
Peter Pan Bus Lines is searching for a motivated individual for our Payroll/Benefits Team. 
 
Major responsibilities include:<ul><li>
Review and audit timesheets, enter into system for payment, balance and process</li><li>
Review and process employment and payroll changes</li><li>
Provide support to employees and managers for payroll and benefits as needed
</li><li>Ensure activities are in compliance with Collective Bargaining Agreement and State and Federal laws</li><li>
Accurate filing of all payroll/benefits information</li></ul> 
Associate&rsquo;s Degree or training in Business or Human Resources, 2- 3 years&rsquo; experience in payroll and benefits processing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
<ul><li>
Experience in logistics or in transportation industry is helpful</li><li>
Excellent Computer Skills including working with Databases, Excel, Outlook and other Microsoft Office applications
</li><li>Experience working with payroll systems and HRIS applications</li><li>
Strong mathematical and reasoning skills required</li><li>
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables where only limited standardization exists
</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy
</li><li>Able to handle confidential information with discretion</li><li>
Excellent customer service and strong communication skills</li><li>
Knowledge of wage and hour laws and working with collective bargaining units preferred</li></ul>
