Job Summary:The Telecom / Radio System Technician is responsible for the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of radio communication and transmission systems, ensuring reliable and efficient network performance.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Install, configure, operate, and maintain radio communication systems, including TETRA systems and OTN systems.</li><li>Perform testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of VHF and UHF radio systems.</li><li>Diagnose and resolve faults in radio transmission and network equipment.</li><li>Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure system reliability.</li><li>Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and system diagrams.</li><li>Coordinate with engineers and technical teams for system upgrades and expansions.</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate service and maintenance records.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Requirements:<ul><li>Diploma or Technical Certification in Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field.</li><li>Proven experience in Radio Systems, TETRA Systems, and OTN Systems.</li><li>Strong knowledge of VHF and UHF radio communications.</li><li>Ability to test, troubleshoot, and maintain radio and transmission equipment.</li><li>Must be able to present valid certification from a recognized radio system provider or authority.</li><li>Minimum of 3&ndash;5 years relevant experience in telecom or radio system operations.</li></ul>Preferred Skills:<ul><li>Experience with public safety or mission-critical communication systems.</li><li>Familiarity with radio frequency (RF) testing tools and equipment.</li><li>Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.</li><li>Willingness to work on field assignments and in challenging environments.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: Up to QAR4,000.00 per month
