Accountant

Education & qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 2–4 years of hands‑on accounting experience in a company or firm (not just audit).
• Proven experience with: Book-keeping, general ledger entries, Bank and balance‑sheet reconciliations, and basic financial statements

Technical skills

• Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS) and basic tax rules.
• Proficiency in any accounting software
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, basic modeling).
• Comfortable handling Accounts payable / receivable, invoices, and basic payroll support.

Soft skills & personal attributes

• Highly detail‑oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines (e.g., month‑end, reporting).
• Good English communication skills (written and verbal) to explain financial data to non‑finance colleagues.
• Organized and methodical, with a clean record‑keeping habit.

Package: Will be discussed during the interview.

Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR3,500.00 per month
