We operate as a small, hands-on, home-based business and are seeking a highly organized, proactive individual to support daily operations, content creation, and event execution across our business ventures.Position OverviewWe are seeking a Part-Time Operations, Content &amp; Events Assistant to support a social enterprise jewelry business as well as related home-based ventures. This is a dynamic, in-person role ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and is excited to grow with a small but fast-moving brand that engages with over 1,000 nonprofits.This position has the goal of transitioning into a full-time role for the right candidate. Must be able to prioritize and multitask.Broad Spectrum Exposure to all Facets of Philanthropic Jewelry Business Including:Production, Brand Development &amp; Sales<ul><li>Work directly with the Designer/Owner, collaborating with artisans in NYC and abroad, as well as outside suppliers and vendors</li></ul><ul><li>Take ideas from concept to execution, managing all stages of development and production</li></ul><ul><li>Manage production and quality control in the Diamond District</li></ul><ul><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, customers, vendors, and nonprofits</li></ul><ul><li>Contribute to marketing strategies and budget planning</li></ul><ul><li>Identify opportunities for trunk shows locally and nationally</li></ul>Content Creation &amp; Social Media<ul><li>Assist with content creation and social media management across major platforms</li></ul><ul><li>Support product photography using an in-house professional camera and lightbox</li></ul><ul><li>Perform image touch-ups using Canva and Photoshop / Adobe Suite as needed</li></ul><ul><li>Maintain visual consistency, brand messaging, and aesthetics across all channels</li></ul>Events &amp; Special Projects<ul><li>Assist with planning, preparation, and execution of events, including:</li></ul><ul><li>Nonprofit and fundraising events</li></ul><ul><li>Educational events (salons, book parties)</li></ul><ul><li>Jewelry trunk shows</li></ul><ul><li>Seated dinners and cocktail gatherings</li></ul><ul><li>Provide on-site support during events</li></ul><ul><li>Assist with display setup, inventory preparation, and breakdown</li></ul>E-Commerce, Operations &amp; Administration<ul><li>Support Shopify and related e-commerce backend operations</li></ul><ul><li>Oversee order fulfillment, packaging, and shipping</li></ul><ul><li>Manage inventory-related tasks</li></ul>QualificationsRequired / Core Skills<ul><li>Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through</li></ul><ul><li>Strong time management and multitasking abilities</li></ul><ul><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li></ul><ul><li>Flexible and willing to learn</li></ul>Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills<ul><li>Artistic sensibility and strong visual judgment</li></ul><ul><li>Experience with Shopify and/or Shopify POS</li></ul><ul><li>Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest)</li></ul><ul><li>Experience with Canva; Photoshop / Adobe Suite</li></ul><ul><li>Comfortable operating a professional camera (one provided)</li></ul><ul><li>Comfortable pitching ideas and engaging with customers or event guests</li></ul><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent experience (certifications, project management, or industry experience)</li></ul><ul><li>Willingness to travel occasionally for out-of-state events with advance notice</li></ul><ul><li>Familiarity with CAD software</li></ul>Schedule &amp; Compensation<ul><li>Part-time, in-person role</li></ul><ul><li>Schedule to be discussed</li></ul><ul><li>Compensation: $30/hour</li></ul><ul><li>Opportunity for growth into a full-time position</li></ul>Why This Role<ul><li>Hands-on experience in a growing fine jewelry and lifestyle business</li></ul><ul><li>Exposure to operations, e-commerce, content, and events</li></ul><ul><li>Opportunity to grow responsibility and scope over time</li></ul><ul><li>Creative, fast-paced, and collaborative environment</li></ul>Pay: $30.00 per hourWork Location: In person
