Master Automotive TechnicianPhil&rsquo;s Service &ndash; Killeen, TXPhil&rsquo;s Service is seeking an experienced Master Automotive Technician to join our ASE Blue Seal Certified repair facility. We are looking for a highly skilled professional with exceptional diagnostic abilities who can accurately diagnose and repair today&rsquo;s complex automotive systems. This position is ideal for a technician who takes pride in solving difficult problems, values honesty and quality workmanship, and wants to work in a professional, team-oriented environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform advanced diagnostics on domestic and import vehicles.</li><li>Diagnose complex drivability, electrical, engine performance, transmission, steering, suspension, brake, HVAC, and electronic system concerns.</li><li>Utilize factory scan tools, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, pressure testing equipment, and other advanced diagnostic equipment.</li><li>Develop accurate repair plans based on diagnostic findings.</li><li>Complete repairs correctly the first time while maintaining high quality standards.</li><li>Perform inspections and document vehicle conditions using Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI) software.</li><li>Clearly communicate diagnostic findings and repair recommendations to service advisors.</li><li>Stay current with changing automotive technology through ongoing training.</li><li>Assist and mentor less experienced technicians when needed.</li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.</li><li>Follow all company policies and safety procedures.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum of 5 years of professional automotive repair experience (more preferred).</li><li>Strong advanced diagnostic skills are required.</li><li>Ability to diagnose difficult intermittent electrical and drivability problems.</li><li>Experience with CAN Bus, network communication systems, and advanced vehicle electronics.</li><li>Ability to read wiring diagrams and factory service information.</li><li>ASE Master Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with a clean driving record.</li><li>Own professional tools required.</li><li>Excellent work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail.</li></ul>Preferred Experience<ul><li>Advanced electrical diagnostics</li><li>Engine performance diagnostics</li><li>Diesel diagnostics (a plus)</li><li>Hybrid and electric vehicle experience (a plus)</li><li>Air conditioning diagnostics and repair</li><li>Steering and suspension diagnostics</li><li>ADAS calibration experience (preferred but not required)</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Competitive pay based on experience and ability.</li><li>Weekly guaranteed pay with performance incentives.</li><li>Modern, well-equipped shop with advanced diagnostic equipment.</li><li>Digital inspections and professional workflow.</li><li>Ongoing paid training opportunities.</li><li>Paid vacation and holidays.</li><li>Health benefits available.</li><li>Retirement plan opportunities.</li><li>Stable, family-owned business with an excellent reputation.</li><li>Clean, professional work environment.</li><li>Opportunity for long-term career growth.</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking ForWe are not simply looking for a parts changer.
