 Responsibilities as a Porter:
<ul>
<li>Remove miscellaneous debris and remove trash</li>
<li>Clean floors by washing, vacuuming and polishing floors</li>
<li>Keep supplies ready by restocking housekeeping supplies</li>
<li>Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns</li>
<li>Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with security regulations</li>
<li>Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities</li>
<li>Enhance housekeeping reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments</li>
</ul>
Requirements for a Porter:
<ul>
<li><ul><li>Must be able to work 7am-3pm shift OR 3pm-11pm shift</li>
<li>High School Diploma or Equivalent</li>
<li>1 year of related experience</li>
<li>Physical demands: regularly required to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel and bend, lift and carry</li>
<li>Must be able to operate cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaner, wet vac, and carpet machine</li>
<li>Knowledge of stripping and waxing floors a plus</li>
