Phoenix Center for Rehabilitation & Pediatrics is a skilled nursing facility located in Haskell, NJ. We are currently looking for reliable Porters to join our team.

Responsibilities as a Porter:

• Remove miscellaneous debris and remove trash
• Clean floors by washing, vacuuming and polishing floors
• Keep supplies ready by restocking housekeeping supplies
• Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with security regulations
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
• Enhance housekeeping reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

Requirements for a Porter:

• • Must be able to work 7am-3pm shift OR 3pm-11pm shift
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1 year of related experience
  • Physical demands: regularly required to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel and bend, lift and carry
  • Must be able to operate cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaner, wet vac, and carpet machine
  • Knowledge of stripping and waxing floors a plus
