We are dedicated to fostering a collaborative environment that values your skills and promotes professional growth.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems</li><li>Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates with precision and professionalism</li><li>Assist healthcare providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments across various specialties including dermatology, internal medicine, emergency medicine, and geriatrics</li><li>Prepare patients for procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort; administer medications and injections following established protocols</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, ICD coding for diagnoses, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Valid certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required</li><li>Proven experience in outpatient clinics or hospital environments; familiarity with hospital experience or Level I/II trauma center settings highly preferred</li><li>Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology to support effective patient care</li><li>Experience working with EHR systems for documentation and order entry; proficiency in ICD coding is a plus</li><li>Ability to perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, assisting with intake assessments, medication administration, and basic X-ray procedures</li><li>Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations including geriatrics and pediatric patients</li><li>Knowledge of emergency medicine protocols and inpatient care procedures; familiarity with hospital medicine standards is desirable</li><li>Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently in outpatient or inpatient settings</li></ul>Join us to make a meaningful difference in patients&rsquo; lives while advancing your career in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
