Job Title: Montessori-Inspired Educator &amp; Nanny (Ages 1.5 &amp; 7)Job Type: Full-Time (would also consider Part-Time if you prefer)Pay: $30 per hourLocation: Langhorne, PAAbout Our Family: We are a warm, considerate family looking for an energetic and patient educator/nanny to care for our two children (ages 1.5 and 7) at our home (mainly indoors). We value independence, creativity, and gentle guidance. We also maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in our home. We are seeking a proactive partner who can create a stimulating, safe, and impeccably clean &quot;Montessori-inspired&quot; environment in our home.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Montessori Guiding: Prepare the home environment to support independence, exploration, and hands-on learning for our toddler.</li><li>Child-Led Activities: Plan educational games, crafts, and nature-based activities. Assist our 7-year-old with reading or homework after school.</li><li>Daily Care: Manage daily routines for the 1.5-year-old, including nap times and diapering/potty training.</li><li>Hygiene &amp; Cleanliness Maintenance: Ensure strict adherence to hygiene practices (e.g., frequent handwashing, proper diaper disposal, and wiping down high-touch surfaces).</li><li>Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children, maintaining a highly sanitary kitchen environment.</li><li>Child-Related Housekeeping: Keep play areas tidy, sanitize toys regularly, wash children's dishes, and manage children's laundry.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills:<ul><li>Minimum of 2&ndash;3 years of professional experience as a Nanny, Preschool Teacher, or Educator.</li><li>Experience or training in Montessori methods (AMS/AMI certification is a major plus!).</li><li>Strong commitment to cleanliness, sanitation, and modeling good hygiene habits for children.</li><li>Valid CPR and First Aid certifications.</li><li>Reliable transportation with a clean driving record.</li><li>Patient, nurturing, highly organized, and detail-oriented.</li><li>Up-to-date background check and excellent professional references.</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays.</li></ul>To Apply: Please reply to this posting with your resume, a brief introduction detailing your childcare philosophy, and your availability.Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hourWork Location: In person
