Montessori Inspired In Home Childcare Provider/Teacher/Guide

Job Title: Montessori-Inspired Educator & Nanny (Ages 1.5 & 7)

Job Type: Full-Time (would also consider Part-Time if you prefer)

Pay: $30 per hour

Location: Langhorne, PA

About Our Family:
We are a warm, considerate family looking for an energetic and patient educator/nanny to care for our two children (ages 1.5 and 7) at our home (mainly indoors). We value independence, creativity, and gentle guidance. We also maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in our home. We are seeking a proactive partner who can create a stimulating, safe, and impeccably clean "Montessori-inspired" environment in our home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Montessori Guiding: Prepare the home environment to support independence, exploration, and hands-on learning for our toddler.
• Child-Led Activities: Plan educational games, crafts, and nature-based activities. Assist our 7-year-old with reading or homework after school.
• Daily Care: Manage daily routines for the 1.5-year-old, including nap times and diapering/potty training.
• Hygiene & Cleanliness Maintenance: Ensure strict adherence to hygiene practices (e.g., frequent handwashing, proper diaper disposal, and wiping down high-touch surfaces).
• Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children, maintaining a highly sanitary kitchen environment.
• Child-Related Housekeeping: Keep play areas tidy, sanitize toys regularly, wash children's dishes, and manage children's laundry.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of 2–3 years of professional experience as a Nanny, Preschool Teacher, or Educator.
• Experience or training in Montessori methods (AMS/AMI certification is a major plus!).
• Strong commitment to cleanliness, sanitation, and modeling good hygiene habits for children.
• Valid CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Reliable transportation with a clean driving record.
• Patient, nurturing, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
• Up-to-date background check and excellent professional references.
