Physicians Primary Care of Southwest Florida

<div><div>Physicians&rsquo; Primary Care of Southwest Florida is a premier physician-owned and managed primary care practice with locations in Cape Coral, Fort Myers, and Lehigh Acres. We are currently seeking a Self-Pay Patient Account Representative to join our Administration team in Fort Myers.</div>
<div></div><div>Sample of Duties:</div>
<ul><li>Provides excellent customer service to both our internal and external customers.</li>
<li>Handles calls and correspondence from patients and insurance companies as they relate to self-pay accounts. Provides prompt resolution to questions or concerns.</li>
<li>Identifies on a daily basis all delinquent accounts and pursue accounts as described in written policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Makes recommendations concerning patient accounts to be written off or turned over for collection.</li>
<li>Monitors work status and maintains productivity within MGMA standards for Patient Account Representatives.</li>
<li>Maintains the strictest confidentiality and adheres to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations.</li>
</ul><div>Position Requirements:</div>
<ul><li>Two years of experience working in a high volume medical office environment</li>
<li>Great attention to detail and data entry accuracy</li>
<li>Ability to handle all interactions in a professional, friendly and enthusiastic manner</li>
<li>Excellent and professional customer service skills</li>
<li>Knowledge of methods and procedures of health data systems</li>

Self-Pay Patient Account Representative

<div><div><div><div><div><div><div>Physicians&rsquo; Primary Care of Southwest Florida is a premier physician owned and managed primary care practice with locations in Cape Coral, Estero, Fort Myers, and Lehigh Acres. We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Pediatrics division in Camelot Fort Myers. Schedule is Flexible Monday through Sunday, Day Shift.</div>
<div></div><div><b>Sample of Responsibilities:</b></div>
<ul><li>Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient and physician use</li>
<li>Perform patient intake; vital signs, medical history, and medication review</li>
<li>Assist physicians in the exam room during physicals and procedures</li>
<li>Record patient charts in the management system in a timely and accurate manner</li>
<li>Maintain the strictest confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations</li>
</ul><div><b>Minimum Requirements:</b></div>
<ul><li>A certification/registration from an accredited program for medical assistants (CCMA, CMA, RMA, or ABR-OE) <b><i>or</i></b> a minimum of two years working as a medical assistant and the ability to get certified/credentialed within six months of employment</li>
<li>Great attention to detail and the ability to record information accurately</li>
<li>Ability to develop and maintain a good rapport and a cooperative working relationship with providers, staff, and patients</li>
<li>Knowledge of phlebotomy, patient intake, and common medications</li>
<li>One year of medical assisting experience or a combination of medical education and work experience</li>
<li>CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire
</li><li>Regular and reliable attendance is required</li>
