Nebraska Orthopaedic Clinic is excited to annouce the opening of their Physical Therapy Services in Lincoln, NE! Our team seeking a Full-Time Therapy Care Coordinator/Medical Receptionist for their outpatient therapy clinic.Responsibilities and Duties:<ul><li>Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.</li><li>Schedule the patient for therapy. If the patient is unable to attend therapy at our clinic (inbound referrals), help find a location that is acceptable to the patient and get the appointment scheduled (outbound referrals).</li><li>Knowledge of optimizing scheduling for the patient and corresponding appointments within the practice.</li><li>Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.</li><li>Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering patients' questions; maintaining the reception area.</li><li>Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.</li><li>Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.</li><li>Obtains revenue by recording and updating financial information; recording and collecting patient charges.</li><li>Protects patients' rights by maintaining the confidentiality of personal and financial information.</li><li>Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.</li><li>Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.</li><li>Verify Benefits and obtain authorization to treat from a variety of medical coverage payors.</li><li>This individual will be decisive, self-driven, and dynamic.
