This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, sales, and customer engagement while working in a vibrant atmosphere that celebrates culinary excellence.Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements using OpenTable or similar reservation systems</li><li>Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient processing</li><li>Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation</li><li>Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities</li><li>Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met by following proper food handling procedures</li><li>Clear tables efficiently, bus tables, and assist with general restaurant cleanliness to uphold a welcoming environment</li><li>Provide exceptional guest service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and fostering positive guest relations</li><li>Assist with basic math calculations for billing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy</li><li>Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders in a fine dining or casual setting</li><li>Support host/hostess duties when needed, including managing waitlists and coordinating seating</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous</li><li>Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor</li><li>Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail</li><li>Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices</li><li>Experience with food preparation, bussing, or basic kitchen tasks is a plus</li><li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment</li><li>Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing</li><li>Previous host/hostess experience or serving roles is beneficial but not required</li></ul>Join us to be part of an energetic team committed to delivering outstanding guest experiences!
