Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements using OpenTable or similar reservation systems
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient processing
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met by following proper food handling procedures
• Clear tables efficiently, bus tables, and assist with general restaurant cleanliness to uphold a welcoming environment
• Provide exceptional guest service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and fostering positive guest relations
• Assist with basic math calculations for billing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders in a fine dining or casual setting
• Support host/hostess duties when needed, including managing waitlists and coordinating seating

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
• Experience with food preparation, bussing, or basic kitchen tasks is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
• Previous host/hostess experience or serving roles is beneficial but not required
