<div>Responsibilities include specimen procurement, accessioning, processing and testing under the supervision of a Licensed Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS). Performs all assigned duties in designated areas.

Required Skills</h2><ul>
<li>Phlebotomy and Skin puncture techniques on patients ranging from infancy through adults.</li>
<li>Written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Basic Organizational skills</li>
<li>Basic Computer Skills</li>

<h2 class="jobSectionHeader">Required Experience</h2>
Required:
<ul><li>Current California Phlebotomy Certification meeting California Business and Profession Codes</li>
<li>Experience in obtaining blood samples by venipuncture and skin puncture methods.</li>
<li>Experience with computer data entry</li>
</ul>Preferred:
<ul><li>Two years phlebotomist or laboratory assistant with phlebotomy duties in an acute care hospital.</li>
<li>High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred</li>
