This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of a thriving wellness hub dedicated to movement, health, and connection.We are actively seeking to fill this position and kindly encourage interested candidates to apply at their earliest convenience, as we anticipate making a selection within the week.Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet and check in clients warmly, creating an inviting and energetic atmosphere that motivates members to engage fully with their wellness journey.</li><li>Manage class schedules, bookings, memberships, and client profiles using the MindBody app and studio management system.</li><li>Answer phone calls, texts, and emails promptly and professionally; provide clear information about class offerings, memberships, and special programs.</li><li>Handle payments, process new memberships, and support sales by promoting class packages, personal training sessions, and special workshops.</li><li>Keep the front desk, reception area, and studio spaces clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.</li><li>Assist instructors with scheduling, client communication, equipment setup, supply management, and adherence to health and safety protocols.</li><li>Support studio operations and contribute to a positive team environment.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Prior experience as a receptionist or front desk staff preferred; experience in a gym, health club, or wellness studio is a plus.</li><li>Familiarity with the MindBody booking system or similar scheduling software is strongly preferred.</li><li>Excellent communication and multitasking skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.</li><li>Passion for wellness, fitness, or Pilates &mdash; experience in or knowledge of Pilates, Yoga, or group fitness is a bonus.</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and a positive attitude.</li><li>Availability for morning, evening, or weekend shifts; a flexible schedule is a plus.</li><li>Enthusiasm for learning and a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional client service.</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hourExpected hours: No more than 32 per weekApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have experience using the Mindbody App?</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Shift availability:<ul><li>Night Shift (Preferred)</li><li>Day Shift (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Flushing, NY 11358 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
