Responsibilities
- Greet and check in clients warmly, creating an inviting and energetic atmosphere that motivates members to engage fully with their wellness journey.
- Manage class schedules, bookings, memberships, and client profiles using the MindBody app and studio management system.
- Answer phone calls, texts, and emails promptly and professionally; provide clear information about class offerings, memberships, and special programs.
- Handle payments, process new memberships, and support sales by promoting class packages, personal training sessions, and special workshops.
- Keep the front desk, reception area, and studio spaces clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
- Assist instructors with scheduling, client communication, equipment setup, supply management, and adherence to health and safety protocols.
- Support studio operations and contribute to a positive team environment.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a receptionist or front desk staff preferred; experience in a gym, health club, or wellness studio is a plus.
- Familiarity with the MindBody booking system or similar scheduling software is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Passion for wellness, fitness, or Pilates — experience in or knowledge of Pilates, Yoga, or group fitness is a bonus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Availability for morning, evening, or weekend shifts; a flexible schedule is a plus.
- Enthusiasm for learning and a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 32 per week
