What Will You Do? 
As an Assessment &amp; Referral Clinician at Pine Rest, you&rsquo;ll be part of tight-knit team that believes in the healing power of your expertise and compassion. This role provides triage, assessment, and referral services for patients. Our Assessment &amp; Referral Clinicians are driven to make an impact in the lives of those we serve and are motivated by the healing they witness first-hand each day. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:</div><div><ul><li>
Ability to work collaboratively with other community agencies on behalf of clients and/or the organization.</li><li>
Professionally and calmly handles crisis calls to determine appropriate next steps in the assessment process.</li><li>
Conduct face-to-face and telephone consultation with patients in crisis/psychiatric emergency to assess their clinical condition and to recommend the appropriate level of clinical care.</li><li>
Coordinate admissions and/or intakes, including interfacing with insurance and managed care companies for authorization.</li><li>
Refer patients to outpatient services, either within or outside the system when necessary.</li><li>
Ensures that medical record documentation protocols are complied with. Ensures that persons&rsquo; assessment information is entered into the medical records on a timely basis and in accordance with established organizational and departmental procedures.</li><li>
Ability to respond to a range of clients' needs using differential diagnoses and treatment approaches.</li></ul></div> 
What Does This Role Require?
Education/Experience:<ul><li>
Current, valid license in MI as LLP, LMSW or LLMSW</li><li>
Obtain and maintain in good standing certification commiserate with treatment provided.</li><li>
Ability to provide culturally inclusive care with a wide range of individuals in a diverse community setting.</li><li>
Interpersonal relationship skills necessary in order to relate to a wide variety of internal and external contacts including patients and families, multi-disciplinary treatment team members, other hospital employees, and a variety of individuals in the social sphere of the patient under treatment.</li></ul>

What Will You Do:
As a Lead Business System Analyst at Pine Rest, you&rsquo;ll be part of tight-knit team that believes in the healing power of your expertise and compassion. What Will You Do?
As a Clinical Therapist at Pine Rest, you&rsquo;ll be part of tight-knit team that believes in the healing power of your expertise and compassion. Within the framework of the organization is responsible to be a professional caregiver who provides assessment, counseling, treatment and gives referrals and advocacy services for patients. Is also responsible for upholding the highest quality care, keeping with all standards and bylaws set by government agencies as well as Pine Rest.<div>

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:</div><div><ul><li>
Participates in the interviewing of persons served and assessing them through mental status as well as reviewing records obtained from other patient care staff.</li><li>
Selects and completes appropriate therapeutic interventions based upon clinical knowledge base and educational background (to include individual, group, family, experiential, and evidence based models).</li><li>
Collaborates with other treatment team members regarding patients&rsquo; progress through interdisciplinary team meetings, record review, and informal discussions.</li><li>
Ensures that medical record documentation protocols are complied with. Ensures that persons&rsquo; served progress notes are entered into the medical records on a timely basis and in accordance with established organizational and departmental procedures.</li><li>
May coordinate services and community resources as needed and assist person&rsquo;s served in obtaining them.</li><li>
Participates regularly in departmental and staff meetings. Serves on programs or organizational committees as required and as time and workload allow.</li><li>
Maintains all Michigan licensure requirements.</li><li>
Builds knowledge of current trends and developments in treatment and counseling through the use of appropriate professional literature, medical workshops and publications. Fulfills continuing education requirements as per PRCMHS departmental policies.</li><li>
Participates in education and training programs for persons served, families, or community groups.</li><li>
May write behavior management plans for patients as part of consultation.</li><li>
Provides consultation to professionals, hospitals, organizations, or agencies outside of Pine Rest.</li><li>
Membership and involvement in local, state, and national professional organizations is encouraged.</li><li>
Creates a customer-friendly environment.</li><li>
May need to visit a person served at their home.</li><li>
May be required to work weekends and or evenings.</li><li>
May provide supervison and training to interns as assigned.</li><li>
May conduct research.</li><li>
May be required to support and promote a recovery focused environment and person-centered approach within the program.</li><li>
May initiate and implement clinical safety precautions and/or safety provisions.</li><li>
May assist in the development and initiation of safety plans during crisis situations.</li><li>
Responsible to uphold the healing ministry of Christ through relationships that honor integrity, stewardship, empowerment, the promotion of diversity and professional excellence.</li><li>
Must maintain annual training and demonstrate competency in the required programmatic training.</li><li>
Performs other duties or functions as assigned.</li></ul>
Additional Responsibilities for the Lotus Department:</div><ul><li>
Provides direct clinical care and clinical feedback when assisting in the program.</li><li>
Direct tasks of team/program members, actively participating in each task.</li><li>
Communicates clinical changes to program clinical team and on-call clinician.</li><li>
Utilize evidence-based interventions to assist with clinical care of all residents.</li><li>
Assistance and participation in crisis situations during times of escalation.</li><li>
Support and promote a recovery focused environment and person-centered approach within the program.</li><li>
Provide consistent leadership during crisis situations.</li></ul>
What Does This Role Require?
Education/Experience:<ul><li>
Current state licensure in an accredited Master&rsquo;s level program in Social Work, limited license Psychologist or Professional Counseling.</li><li>
Obtain and maintain in good standing certification commiserate with treatment provided.</li><li>
Trained to work in the age group of the patient being served with annual continuing age specific education and demonstrated competence.</li><li>
One to two years of postgraduate clinical experience.</li></ul>
