Dubuque based law firm seeking detail-oriented and highly motivated receptionist/ intake specialist. Excellent interpersonal skills, professional demeanor and ability to work well with others required.Job responsibilities:<ul><li>Answer telephone calls and direct the caller to the appropriate party</li><li>Collect and record information from potential clients</li><li>Open new cases in case management software</li><li>Assist in various administrative tasks including, but not limited to: Dictation, filing, faxing, scanning sorting, and delivering mail to appropriate team members</li><li>Sending e-mails to various parties, as instructed by the attorneys and other staff members</li><li>Returning various telephone calls from the attorneys</li><li>Gather and organize client information and documents needed for initial attorney consultation;</li><li>Schedule and coordinate attorney/client meetings;</li><li>Maintain potential client list;</li><li>Draft and follow-up on client representation agreements and other communications;</li><li>Office administrative projects as assigned;</li></ul>Job requirements:<ul><li>Previous experience working as a receptionist;</li><li>The ability to work under pressure, use sound judgement, and seek solution to potential problems</li><li>Strong knowledge of MS Office Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word</li><li>Able to quickly and succinctly document conversations;</li><li>Organize and properly document potential client cases;</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills;</li><li>Ability to work independently and effectively;</li><li>Superior attention to detail;</li><li>Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload and projects; and</li><li>The ability to exercise independent judgment, and to work with and maintain confidential and sensitive information.</li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li>3+ years&rsquo; experience as a receptionist or intake specialist</li><li>Law firm experience a plus</li><li>Job Type: Full-time</li></ul>Salary: $20.00+ based on experienceJob Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Dubuque, IA 52002 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Dubuque, IA 52002: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
