The Opportunity: We are seeking a motivated Principal Structural Engineer to join our team in Melbourne. You will contribute to a variety of major infrastructure projects, as well as industrial and commercial developments; whilst providing technical guidance in a range of different structural materials for our junior team members. With offices Australia wide there is plenty of opportunity to collaborate across our multi-disciplinary teams. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:<ul><li>Become a technical focal point and provide technical guidance for the structural team in Melbourne</li><li>Apply engineering fundamentals to solve intermediate to advanced engineering solutions</li><li>Liaise with clients and design technicians and other team members to deliver practical solutions</li><li>Manage clients, prepare fee proposals and tender documentations</li><li>Provide technical guidance to junior members of the team</li></ul> What you bring: <ul><li>Minimum 15+ years of experience in structural design</li><li>Indepth experience in structural engineering design and already obtained Engineers Australia Chartered Professional Engineering Status or equivalent</li><li>Bachelor of Civil/Structural Engineering or higher</li><li>Strong analytical thinking skills and a problem-solving mentality</li><li>Willingness to contribute to technical guidance of junior members through mentoring and checking of technical documentation</li><li>Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both with colleagues and clients</li></ul> Why join us: <ul><li>Passionate Team:We're a friendly bunch who are passionate about our work.
