If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about precision and financial integrity, this position is perfect for you!Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms.</li><li>Prepare and record journal entries, ensuring accuracy in debits &amp; credits in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).</li><li>Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and balance sheets regularly to maintain financial accuracy.</li><li>Handle accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently, including invoice processing and payment tracking.</li><li>Conduct account analysis and general ledger reconciliation to ensure consistency across financial records.</li><li>Assist with payroll processing and related tax filings while maintaining compliance with governmental regulations.</li><li>Support budgeting activities by providing detailed financial data and preparing comprehensive financial reports.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or Quicken.</li><li>Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles, including double entry bookkeeping and financial concepts.</li><li>Experience with non-profit accounting practices is highly desirable.</li><li>Knowledge of governmental accounting standards and tax experience is a plus.</li><li>Ability to perform bank reconciliations, account reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation accurately.</li><li>Familiarity with technical accounting tasks such as journal entries, account analysis, and general ledger accounting.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently; proficiency in 10 key typing is preferred.</li><li>Strong communication skills for financial report writing and collaborating with team members on budget planning and account analysis.
