Care is centered on the whole person rather than solely on a diagnosis.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner role. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, ongoing medication management, and supportive psychotherapy for adults, while maintaining thorough and timely documentation in the electronic health record. Daily responsibilities include assessing mental and physical health status, developing and adjusting treatment plans, monitoring treatment response and side effects, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals as needed. The role also involves delivering trauma-informed, culturally responsive care, engaging clients in collaborative goal setting, and providing education on diagnoses, medications, and wellness strategies.
