Position Overview
Candidate will operate all equipment including but not limited to: Loader, Haul Trucks with 30-75 Ton Capacity, Water Tanker, Tri Axle Truck and Sweeper.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties &amp; Functions)<ul><li>
Operates heavy equipment in a safe and professional manner in the yard area</li><li>
Keep vehicle clean inside and outside</li><li>
Report any accident or incident to supervisor</li><li>
Performs pre-and post-trip truck inspections. Fill out daily vehicle condition report.</li><li>
Informs Service Technician and supervisor of any maintenance or repairs needed</li><li>
Always wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)</li><li>
Keep load counts</li><li>
Performs all duties safely and in accordance with health and safety policies and procedures.</li><li>
Maintains awareness of MSHA regulations</li><li>
Works as a team member with other employees within the crushing operation to ensure smooth operation.</li><li>
Ensures crusher is fed consistently.</li><li>
Continually drives truck within confines of the quarry to deliver material to crusher and stockpiles.</li></ul><div>

Requirements
The ideal Candidate will:<ul><li>
Demonstrate good performance, safety, and attendance</li><li>
Demonstrate the ability to work independently, without direct supervision</li><li>
Demonstrate a willingness to work overtime and weekends/holidays/nights</li><li>
Demonstrates ability to work and communicate well with Supervisors, Truck Drivers, Heavy Equipment Operators, and other employees</li><li>
Demonstrate the ability to conform to and maintain MSHA and all other company policies or governmental state rules and regulations</li><li>
Must have good depth perception and coordination to operate controls</li><li>
Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license</li><li>
Pre-employment physical exam, pre-employment-controlled substance testing, and criminal background check are required before being employed by PJ Keating Company.</li></ul>
Education/Professional Experience<ul><li>
High school graduate or equivalent</li><li>
Experience with Quarry operations a plus</li><li>
MSHA Certification</li></ul>
