Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.</li><li>Maintain restrooms by cleaning toilets, sinks, mirrors, and replenishing supplies as needed.</li><li>Conduct floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping, and waxing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained.</li><li>Handle commercial cleaning duties in offices, hallways, and common areas to uphold cleanliness standards.</li><li>Assist with custodial tasks in residential settings as required.</li><li>Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly.</li><li>Follow safety procedures while using cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to complete cleaning assignments efficiently.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.</li><li>Experience in commercial or industrial cleaning environments is advantageous.</li><li>Knowledge of residential painting or porter duties is beneficial but not mandatory.</li><li>Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.</li><li>Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting or moving items.</li><li>Commitment to maintaining safety standards while performing duties.
