Seasonal Yard Equipment Operator / Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) &ndash; Full Time, $22/hrPortland Rock is a locally owned landscape supply company serving contractors and homeowners throughout the Portland area. We&rsquo;re hiring a dependable team member to join our landscape supply yard from April - October. This is a hands-on outdoor job operating equipment, preparing customer orders, and making local deliveries in company trucks.Training is provided in equipment operation, deliveries, and product knowledge.Pay &amp; ScheduleFull-Time Position, 35 &ndash; 44 hrs per weekTypical schedule:<ul><li>4-5 days per week, Saturdays are required</li></ul>What You'll DoEquipment Operation<ul><li>Safely operate loaders, excavators, and forklifts</li><li>Load customer vehicles and delivery trucks</li><li>Move and stage landscape materials throughout the yard</li></ul>Customer Service<ul><li>Assist customers with material selection and loading</li><li>Provide friendly and professional service in person and by phone</li><li>Ensure customer orders are accurate and completed efficiently</li><li>Check out customers using the computer to write invoices</li></ul>Deliveries<ul><li>Make local deliveries using pickups, small dump trucks, and trucks with trailers</li><li>Ensure deliveries are safe, accurate, and on schedule</li><li>Maintain a clean driving record and follow safety procedures</li></ul>Yard Operations<ul><li>Prepare and palletize customer orders</li><li>Maintain yard cleanliness and organization</li><li>Assist with labeling, stocking, and inventory counts</li><li>Complete daily yard cleanup and debris removal</li></ul>Teamwork<ul><li>Work closely with coworkers to maintain a safe and efficient yard</li><li>Help where needed to support daily operations</li><li>Promote a positive and professional work environment</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and clean driving record</li><li>Ability to lift 90 lbs</li><li>Comfortable working outdoors</li><li>Reliable and punctual</li></ul>We Will Train You On<ul><li>Loader and forklift operation</li><li>Product knowledge</li><li>Delivery procedures</li></ul>Why Work at Portland Rock?<ul><li>Full-time work</li><li>Opportunity for year-round employment</li><li>Outdoor and active job</li><li>Variety of responsibilities (equipment, deliveries, yard work)</li><li>Training and skill development</li><li>Small team environment where your work matters</li></ul>If you enjoy working outdoors, operating equipment, and being part of a hardworking team, we&rsquo;d love to hear from you.
