Poway Pediatric Dentistry

We are a growing Pediatric and Orthodontic dental practice in Poway looking for an experienced Orthodontic Assistant ready to transition into a Treatment Coordinator role.This position is ideal for someone who already understands orthodontic treatment and patient flow, and wants to grow into a patient-facing leadership role presenting treatment and coordinating orthodontic care.We are looking for a friendly, confident, organized team member who enjoys working with children, teens, and parents while helping patients start the orthodontic treatment they need.Responsibilities<ul><li>Coordinate orthodontic new patient exams and consultations</li><li>Present orthodontic treatment plans to patients and parents</li><li>Explain treatment timelines, procedures, and expectations</li><li>Discuss financial options and payment plans</li><li>Schedule treatment starts and coordinate patient care</li><li>Work closely with the orthodontist and clinical team</li><li>Ensure a smooth and positive patient experience from consultation to treatment start</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Minimum 2 years Orthodontic Assistant experience</li><li>Strong understanding of orthodontic procedures and terminology</li><li>Experience with patient communication and education</li><li>Comfortable discussing treatment plans and financial arrangements</li><li>Strong organizational and multitasking skills</li><li>Positive, professional, and team-oriented personality</li><li>Experience with dental software (Dolphin, Eaglesoft) is a plus</li></ul>Preferred Experience<ul><li>Orthodontic assisting</li><li>Dental treatment coordinating</li><li>Pediatric dental office experience</li><li>Case presentation and patient education</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Competitive hourly pay based on experience</li><li>Paid Time Off</li><li>Holiday Pay</li><li>401 K</li><li>Supportive team environment</li><li>Growth opportunities within the practice</li><li>Full-time position, 4 days per week</li></ul>If you are an experienced Orthodontic Assistant who enjoys connecting with patients and wants to grow into a Treatment Coordinator role, we would love to meet you.Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Which orthodontic procedures are you familiar with?
