Position: HVAC TechnicianDepartment: Engineering / MaintenanceIndustry: Facility Management / Manufacturing / CommercialLocation: Across ChennaiExperience: 1&ndash;5 Years (Freshers with ITI may also apply)Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance, energy efficiency, and safety compliance.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems (ACs, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRVs/VRFs)</li><li>Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance as per schedule</li><li>Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and rectify them efficiently</li><li>Check and maintain refrigerant levels, compressors, motors, and controls</li><li>Handle ducting, insulation, filters, belts, and blowers</li><li>Monitor system performance and record maintenance logs</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety standards and SOPs</li><li>Coordinate with vendors and supervisors for major repairs</li><li>Attend emergency breakdowns and ensure minimal downtime</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration &amp; Air Conditioning / Mechanical / Electrical</li><li>Valid trade certification preferred</li><li>Knowledge of HVAC tools and testing equipment</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components</li><li>Ability to read technical manuals and wiring diagrams</li><li>Basic electrical troubleshooting skills</li><li>Familiarity with preventive maintenance schedules</li><li>Good communication and teamwork skills</li></ul>Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)<ul><li>Experience in commercial buildings, factories, hospitals, malls</li><li>Knowledge of BMS systems</li><li>Understanding of energy efficiency and HVAC compliance standards</li><li>Willingness to work in shifts / rotational schedules</li></ul>Salary &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Salary: As per industry standards</li><li>Overtime allowance / Shift allowance</li><li>PF, ESI, insurance, and other statutory benefits</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: ₹8,430.56 - ₹38,097.29 per monthWork Location: In person
