Position: HVAC Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance, energy efficiency, and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems (ACs, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRVs/VRFs)
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance as per schedule
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and rectify them efficiently
• Check and maintain refrigerant levels, compressors, motors, and controls
• Handle ducting, insulation, filters, belts, and blowers
• Monitor system performance and record maintenance logs
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and SOPs
• Coordinate with vendors and supervisors for major repairs
• Attend emergency breakdowns and ensure minimal downtime

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning / Mechanical / Electrical
• Valid trade certification preferred
• Knowledge of HVAC tools and testing equipment

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components
• Ability to read technical manuals and wiring diagrams
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance schedules
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

• Experience in commercial buildings, factories, hospitals, malls
• Knowledge of BMS systems
• Understanding of energy efficiency and HVAC compliance standards
• Willingness to work in shifts / rotational schedules
