Key responsibilities<ul><li>Legal counsel: Advise the company on a wide range of legal issues to ensure operations are within the law.</li><li>Contract management: Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents and agreements, such as contracts, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and mergers and acquisitions (M&amp;A) documents.</li><li>Compliance and governance: Ensure the company complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry policies. This includes overseeing corporate governance and maintaining legal policies.</li><li>Dispute resolution: Manage legal disputes, potentially through negotiation, mediation, or litigation.</li><li>Intellectual property: Assist with the protection of intellectual property rights, trademarks, and other company assets.</li><li>Strategic support: Work with management and stakeholders to provide legal direction and support for business strategy and transactions.</li><li>Legal research: Conduct in-depth legal research for partnerships, M&amp;A, and other significant transactions to identify and mitigate risks.</li></ul>Essential skills and qualifications<ul><li>A law degree</li><li>Strong knowledge of corporate law, compliance frameworks, and relevant regulations.</li><li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.</li><li>Ability to translate complex legal concepts into practical, actionable business advice.</li><li>Experience in corporate governance is often preferred.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Leave encashment</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Are you working in Corporate segment as Legal office?</li><li>Do you have experiance in all kind of licence &amp; certification,legal draft ?</li><li>Do you have knowledge about FMCG/FMCD segment all legal &amp; licence paper work?</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Preferred)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>Hindi (Preferred)</li></ul>Location:<ul><li>Dum Dum, Kolkata, West Bengal (Preferred)</li></ul>Shift availability:<ul><li>Day Shift (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
