Key responsibilities
- Legal counsel: Advise the company on a wide range of legal issues to ensure operations are within the law.
- Contract management: Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents and agreements, such as contracts, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) documents.
- Compliance and governance: Ensure the company complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry policies. This includes overseeing corporate governance and maintaining legal policies.
- Dispute resolution: Manage legal disputes, potentially through negotiation, mediation, or litigation.
- Intellectual property: Assist with the protection of intellectual property rights, trademarks, and other company assets.
- Strategic support: Work with management and stakeholders to provide legal direction and support for business strategy and transactions.
- Legal research: Conduct in-depth legal research for partnerships, M&A, and other significant transactions to identify and mitigate risks.
Essential skills and qualifications
- A law degree
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, compliance frameworks, and relevant regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to translate complex legal concepts into practical, actionable business advice.
- Experience in corporate governance is often preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
