Payroll &amp; HR AdministratorReports To: Finance &amp; Administrative Manager Status: Full-Time (Approximately 40 hours/week)Prairie Home Hospice is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll &amp; HR Administrator to support our finance and leadership teams. This role is responsible for managing bi-weekly payroll, maintaining accurate employee records, coordinating benefits, and supporting day-to-day accounting and HR operations.This position plays a vital role in ensuring our team members are paid accurately and supported professionally so they can focus on delivering exceptional patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll &amp; Accounting<ul><li>Process bi-weekly payroll, including timesheet review, PTO tracking, overtime, bonuses, and mileage</li><li>Maintain payroll records, deductions, garnishments, and direct deposits</li><li>Coordinate benefit enrollments and terminations</li><li>Assist with W-2 processing and year-end payroll tasks</li><li>Enter payroll and financial data into QuickBooks</li><li>Support accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and audit preparation</li><li>Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll regulations</li></ul>Human Resources<ul><li>Support recruitment, job postings, and onboarding processes</li><li>Maintain accurate and confidential employee files</li><li>Coordinate benefits administration and serve as employee point of contact</li><li>Assist with FMLA tracking, workers&rsquo; compensation claims, and employment compliance</li><li>Support staff scheduling and general HR operations as needed</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Experience in payroll processing and HR administration required</li><li>Working knowledge of payroll regulations and employment laws</li><li>Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment</li></ul>Why Join Prairie Home Hospice &amp; Community Care?We are a mission-driven organization committed to compassionate, team-centered care.
