Job Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) &ndash; Outpatient + Telehealth | High Autonomy | Uncapped EarningsPrairie Path Counseling &amp; Wellness is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing outpatient mental health practice serving clients across Iowa via telehealth, with a new in-person office opening June 1 on SW 3rd Street in Ankeny.This is an ideal role for a provider who values autonomy, flexibility, and meaningful clinical work. You&rsquo;ll have the opportunity to help shape a new office space while working within a supportive, collaborative team&mdash;without the burden of large-system bureaucracy.What Makes This Role Unique:<ul><li>High level of clinical autonomy</li><li>Flexible schedule (full-time or part-time options)</li><li>Hybrid model: telehealth + optional in-person sessions</li><li>Opportunity to help design and set up a new office location</li><li>Strong referral base from in-house therapists to support rapid caseload growth</li><li>Low administrative burden &ndash; no productivity quotas</li><li>Billing and administrative support provided</li><li>Collaborative, supportive team environment</li></ul>Responsibilities:<ul><li>Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management</li><li>Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications independently</li><li>Collaborate with therapists for coordinated client care</li><li>Maintain timely and accurate documentation in TherapyNotes EHR</li><li>Provide services via telehealth and optional in-person sessions</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)</li><li>Active, unrestricted Iowa license</li><li>DEA license (or ability to obtain)</li><li>Ability to practice and prescribe independently</li><li>Experience in outpatient mental health preferred</li></ul>Compensation: 65% of collections (uncapped earning potential)Typical full-time earnings range: $130,000&ndash;$190,000+ annually, depending on caseload and schedule.This model allows providers to control their income based on the number of clients they choose to see, with strong internal referrals to support building a full caseload quickly.Flexible structure options available (W2 or 1099).Many of our providers reach a full caseload within 4&ndash;8 weekBenefits &amp; Perks:<ul><li>Flexible scheduling and strong work-life balance</li><li>Hybrid work environment</li><li>Administrative and billing support</li><li>Opportunity to grow with an expanding practice</li><li>Input into office setup and workflow design</li></ul>About Prairie Path Counseling &amp; Wellness: Prairie Path is a growing mental health practice focused on providing accessible, high-quality care across Iowa.
