Knowledge &amp; Skills:&middot; Knowledge of reading of Energy meter, D.G, UPS, Air Compressor, Nitrogen Generation and consumption etc.&middot; Spares Management: Identity and maintain critical spares, do spares planning &amp; prepare monthly spares consumption against budget. Planning for diesel purchase.<ul><li>Good Communication skills</li></ul>Responsibilities: &middot; Ensure all quality system activities are carried out and documented as per the Plan.&middot; Maintain and repair of all Utility equipments, Material handling equipments, Office equipments, Blowers, Exhaust systems, GOS etc.&middot; Daily reading of Energy meter, D.G, UPS, Air Compressor, Nitrogen Generation and consumption etc.&middot; Distribution of power line wise load calculation to maintain balanced load.&middot; Monitoring &amp; Ensuring the Power factor to be maintained above 0.90&middot; Reduction in spares consumption&middot; Installation and Commissioning of Utility Equipments and estimation, planning &amp; execution of new projects (infrastructure)&middot; Providing &amp; ensuring all the necessary utility connections to the new equipments, (Power, Water, Air &amp; light)&middot; Responsible for the entire plant electrical safety &amp; Maintain safety&middot; Prepares reports, analyzes data, and makes recommendations for improving plant operations and solving Utility maintenance-related problems.&middot; Initiate and carry out projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.&middot; Coordinate activities with HR department for Statutory Requirements of the company.&middot; Co-ordinate for Liasioning with various government authorities for statutory, regulatory and legal compliance.&middot; Shut Down Activity: Maintenance of all LT Panels etc.&middot; Planning for new electrical projects or repairsMachine Maintenance:1. Equipment Maintenance:&middot; Setting, programming &amp; maintenance of machines PDC, Compression moulding, Torrid winding machine, Shinig sun, Ovens, tining pots, chemical tinnig pots, gluing machines, pneumatics connections, air supply etc.&middot; Attend the problems coming in PDC, Compression moulding, Torrid winding, shining sun, ovens, tining pots.2. Preventive Maintenance (Planning and Implementation): &middot; Study of machine&middot; Maintenance Planning&middot; Carryout Preventive Maintenance at right intervals&middot; Updating Preventive Maintenance records for all machinery3. Breakdown Maintenance:&middot; Refer Breakdown Slip and observe the nature of problem&middot; Planning for Breakdown Maintenance&middot; Carrying out Breakdown Maintenance&middot; Interacting with service engineers&middot; Managing downtime&middot; Breakdown Maintenance slip updating&middot; Monitoring the working of machines&middot; Estimating and servicing equipment&middot; Finding out the root cause. Implementing the corrective action.4. General Maintenance:&middot; Daily maintenance&middot; Updating records&middot; Attending urgent works as per production requirements&middot; Tools and Spares updating&middot; Machine and Equipment status updating5. New machine installations: &middot; Ensure the receipt of new machinery and checking for any damage&middot; Study operating/ maintenance manuals&middot; Interact with suppliers for extra information required&middot; Test the machines as per specifications and safety&middot; Prepare the Preventive Maintenance instruction / machine installation report&middot; Opening register for documenting machine history6. Spares Planning &amp; Spare Budgeting: &middot; List the critical spares&middot; Identify the different sources of suppliers&middot; Obtaining quotes and comparison&middot; Order Placing&middot; Inspection of spares&middot; Taking measurements&middot; Spares Budgeting&middot; Maintain the spares stock&middot; Monthly audits of spares7. Programming / Development for productivity improvement:&middot; Programming for new projects&middot; Program correction to change the process to improve quality / cycle time&middot; Programming corrections while project changeover8. Preparing AMP, MMP. Maintaining master list of machines.9. Troubleshoot all types of hydraulic system and Pneumatic Functional.
