Description:Precision Prep is seeking dynamic and student-centered Math and Science teachers to support students in grades 6&ndash;12 through a combination of in-person instruction, online learning support, and one-on-one tutoring. This role is ideal for an educator who values small class environments, personalized learning, and building strong relationships with student-athletes.Job Duties Include (but are not limited to):<ul><li>Manage and organize the learning environment</li><li>Provide in-person math and science instruction for middle and high school students</li><li>Monitor and support students in online coursework, ensuring progress and accountability</li><li>Deliver one-on-one and small group tutoring to reinforce concepts and close learning gaps</li><li>Track student performance and provide regular feedback to students and families</li><li>Support students in developing organization, study skills, and academic independence</li><li>Develop instructional units based on standards</li><li>Differentiate instruction through standards aligned rubric</li><li>Establish high expectations and consistent classroom procedures.</li><li>Maintain an organized and inviting learning environment.</li><li>Develop parent-community partnerships</li><li>Encourage parent involvement through volunteer opportunities</li><li>Maintain communication with parents on a regular basis</li><li>Facilitate parent-teacher conferences</li><li>Work collaboratively with colleagues to oversee the mission, vision and school values</li><li>Attend professional development and faculty meetings</li><li>Participate in the development of curriculum and assess its effectiveness.</li><li>Collaborate with staff to align instruction with school goals and student needs</li><li>Continue ongoing education and professional development</li><li>Attend workshops, seminars and courses to enhance pedagogy and knowledge.</li><li>Participate in collaborative coaching sessions.</li><li>Seek professional development opportunities to increase knowledge of best practices.</li></ul>QualificationsMinimum Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Education or related field</li><li>Experience teaching middle and high school math and science courses</li><li>Valid Texas Professional Certificate</li></ul>Preferred Requirements<ul><li>Gifted and Talented Certification</li><li>ESL Certification</li><li>Three plus years teaching experience</li></ul>Required Documents<ul><li>Interested candidates must submit the following:</li><li>A resume or curriculum vitae</li><li>A cover letter or email (include information regarding your educational philosophy)</li><li>A list of three references (must have previous supervisor)</li><li>A copy of a valid teaching certificate</li><li>A copy of official transcript</li></ul>To Apply<ul><li>To apply, send resume, cover letter and supporting documents to info@precisionpreparatory.com</li></ul>Job Types: Part-time, ContractPay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Work Location: In person
