<div>Position: Sonographer (OB/GYN)
Reports To: Regional Manager
Summary: The Sonographer will function as a healthcare provider who, working under the delegated authority of the supervising physician, serve as a medical imaging professional who provides clinically relevant information to assist the physician with the diagnosis and treatment of patients. 

Primary Responsibilities/Duties (include but are not limited to):
Scans Routinely Performed:
<ul><li>Early OBs, viability and dating</li>
<li>Fetal anatomy scans</li>
<li>Follow up anatomy scans</li>
<li>Follow up growth, 2nd/3rd trimester</li>
<li>BPPs</li>
<li>NTs</li>
<li>Pelvic ultrasound/3D imaging of endo</li></ul> 

<ul><li>Thoroughly explain the examination procedures to patients in a friendly, comforting manner</li>
<li>Perform scanning test/functions according to ordering physician's requisition</li>
<li>Execute protocols established by the Practice Manager and other physicians consistently</li>
<li>Set up and clean all scanning equipment and work area prior to seeing first patient</li></ul> 

Requirements/Qualifications
Education
<ul><li>Associates Degree preferred or equivalent clinical experience</li></ul> 

Credentials
<ul><li>Current RDMS in OB/GYN (Required)</li>
<li>Current RDMS in Abdominal (Preferred)</li>
<li>Familiarity with NTQR (preferred) Familiarity with NT scans preferred</li>
<li>Has met all relevant certification and licensure requirements required by the account</li></ul> 

Experience
<ul><li>1-2 years of experience in a Clinical Imaging/Ultrasound environment</li>
<li>2 years minimum of OB/GYN experience preferred</li>
<li>Ability to work with Ultrasound/Imaging software (Viewpoint, Epic, etc.) preferred</li>
<li>GE Voluson experience preferred</li></ul> 

Skills
<ul><li>Ability to plan, organize, follow-up and multi-task on a daily basis</li>
<li>Ability to function with minimal supervision</li>
<li>Ability to problem solve effectively and timely</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal skills when interacting with patients, clinical managers and physicians</li></ul> 

Physical
<ul><li>Light lifting may be required</li>
<li>Work in climate-controlled office environment</li></ul>
