We&rsquo;re the &ldquo;GC of the backyard&rdquo; - from simple inground gunite swimming pools to full backyard retreats.We&rsquo;re hiring a local Outdoor Living &amp; Pool Designer who doesn&rsquo;t just want a job, but a seat at the table as we grow. Someone who may also want to help build the design department, influence standards, and grow into a leadership role over the next few years.The OpportunityThis role is for a designer who:<ul><li>Loves the full picture &ndash; pool, patio, planting, structures, lighting, furniture, &amp; more</li><li>Thinks like a builder and a designer &ndash; your plans work in the field, not just on screen.</li><li>Wants to grow with a company where your voice matters and can help sculpt a large portion of this brand</li></ul>You&rsquo;ll collaborate closely with the Owner(s) and our sales and construction teams in New England. Over time, this opportunity could lead you to become the on-the-ground design lead helping us shape how Premier Outdoor Group designs and delivers backyard experiences to their clients.What You&rsquo;ll Do<ul><li>Design complete outdoor environments, including:</li><li>Pools &amp; spas</li><li>Planting concepts and planting plans</li><li>Hardscapes (pool decks, patios, walks, stairs, retaining/seat walls)</li><li>Concept-level structures (pergolas, pavilions, cabanas, covered areas)</li><li>Outdoor kitchens, fire features, and lounge/dining zones</li><li>Furniture &amp; fixture layouts so spaces actually work in real life</li><li>Work would be a mix of (and will shift over time): ~60%fast-track, pool-focused designs. ~40% full outdoor living / complex backyard projects.</li><li>Produce fast, accurate construction drawings in AutoCAD (or equivalent) that our crews can build from with minimal guesswork.</li><li>Join sales/design meetings: Forward-facing on larger, design-driven projects to help sell the vision. More behind-the-scenes support on simpler projects.</li><li>Perform a basic zoning/code review on each design package, and know when to bring in surveyors/engineers (uncertain property lines, towns that require engineered plans).</li><li>Visit job sites occasionally across New England to understand grades, access, and how your designs play out in reality.</li><li>Give feedback and ideas on how we can improve our design standards, packages, and processes as we grow.</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking ForMust-haves<ul><li>3&ndash;7 years&rsquo; experience inlandscape design, landscape architecture, outdoor living, and/or pool design.</li><li>Strong, proven drafting skills in AutoCAD or a very similar CAD platform &ndash; you&rsquo;re fast and accurate.</li><li>Solid understanding of grades, elevations, and how outdoor projects get built.</li><li>Experience designing with a mix of pools, hardscapes, planting, lighting, and outdoor living spaces.</li><li>Positive attitude, team player, responsive and reliable.</li><li>Ability to prioritize, move quickly, and stay creative during busy seasons &ndash; this is not a &ldquo;coast-through-9-to-5&rdquo; role.</li><li>Local to New England, with the ability to visit sitesas needed (paid travel will be included)</li></ul>Nice-to-haves<ul><li>3D experience (SketchUp, Lumion, Pool Studio/Structure Studios, etc.).</li><li>Landscape Architecture degree and/or LA stamp.</li></ul>Growth &amp; FutureThis isn&rsquo;t a dead-end production role.For the right person, there is a clear path to:<ul><li>Lead Designer / Head of Design as we expand.</li><li>Helping build and mentor a future design team.</li><li>Having real input on new markets as we continue to expandand how our design services evolve.</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Full-time, year round</li><li>Competitive salary + performance-based bonus/commission, aligned with market rates, based on experience.</li><li>Direct collaboration with an experienced owner/designer and a strong sales/construction team.</li><li>A steady flow ofinteresting, high-end projects where your work is actually built &ndash; not left in a portfolio (we don't often design-only)</li><li>A chance to grow with a company that&rsquo;s still small enough for you to make a real impact.</li></ul>Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: On the road
