Job OverviewPremier Health Services, Inc., a Medicare-certified home health agency, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Staffing Coordinator to support our growing clinical operations team. The Staffing Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring patients receive timely, high-quality care by coordinating staffing schedules for nurses and home health aides, maintaining Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) compliance, and supporting operational excellence.If you thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment, enjoy problem-solving, and are passionate about your community, we encourage you to apply.Duties Scheduling and Workforce Coordination<ul><li>Coordinate and maintain daily schedules for:</li></ul>- Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)- Home Health Aides (HHAs) / Personal Care Aides (PCAs)- Match staff assignments based on patient needs, location, staff&rsquo;s skills and availability, and continuity of care requirements<ul><li>Manage schedule changes, call-offs, cancellations, and emergency staffing situations.</li><li>Ensure all patient visits are staffed and completed according to physician orders and individualized plans of care.</li><li>Monitor staffing efficiency and visit utilization.</li><li>Coordinate and ensure on-call coverage for evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency situations.</li></ul>Patient Care Coordination<ul><li>Coordinate staffing for new patient admissions and resumptions of care.</li><li>Communicate scheduling information with patients, caregivers, and clinical staff.</li><li>Address and resolve patient-caregiver compatibility concerns.</li><li>Assist with incident and complaint investigations as needed.</li><li>Participate in interdisciplinary team and operational meetings.</li></ul>Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Compliance<ul><li>Collaborate with the EVV Coordinator to monitor and manage EVV activities for HHA and LPN visits.</li><li>Verify accurate clock-in and clock-out documentation for scheduled visits.</li><li>Ensure EVV records align with authorized service hours and scheduled visits.</li><li>Maintain accurate EVV records to support Agency activities</li><li>Partner with the Billing Department to ensure visit verification supports reimbursement requirements.</li></ul>Compliance and Documentation<ul><li>Ensure staffing assignments comply with Federal and District of Columbia regulations.</li><li>Maintain accurate scheduling records within the agency's EMR and scheduling systems.</li><li>Track missed visits, scheduling exceptions, and documentation concerns.</li><li>Escalate unresolved staffing or compliance concerns to agency leadership</li></ul>Administrative Support<ul><li>Prepare staffing, utilization, productivity, and EVV compliance reports.</li><li>Assist leadership in identifying staffing trends and workforce needs.</li><li>Support recruitment, onboarding, and orientation activities as needed.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.</li><li>Proficient with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)</li><li>Proficient with Home care scheduling software (AXXESS experience preferred)</li><li>Proficient with Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) systems</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams).</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.</li><li>Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.</li></ul>At Premier Health Services, we are committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care that allows patients to remain safely in their homes and communities.
