Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Medical Practice Manager to lead the efficient operation of a busy healthcare facility. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care while managing the business side of healthcare delivery.Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead and supervise all administrative staff, including medical administrative support, receptionists, and billing personnel, ensuring smooth daily operations.</li><li>Oversee financial management activities such as budgeting, billing, coding, and revenue cycle management using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems like Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Dentrix.</li><li>Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure the confidentiality and security of all medical records and patient information.</li><li>Manage clinic operations including scheduling, patient flow, and resource allocation to optimize patient care delivery.</li><li>Coordinate with healthcare providers to support medical management initiatives across acute care, hospital settings, or specialty clinics such as dental or veterinary practices.</li><li>Implement policies for utilization management, managed care contracts, and JCAHO standards to uphold quality assurance standards.</li><li>Oversee human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development aligned with healthcare management best practices.</li><li>Monitor fiscal health by managing budgets, controlling expenses, and ensuring profitability through effective financial management strategies.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations including HIPAA, OSHA standards, and state-specific licensing requirements.</li><li>Facilitate communication between clinical staff and administrative teams to promote a cohesive work environment focused on excellent patient outcomes.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare administration within a clinical setting such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, or dental offices.</li><li>Demonstrated supervisory experience leading teams in fast-paced environments with diverse responsibilities.</li><li>Strong background in fiscal management including budgeting, financial reporting, and revenue cycle processes.</li><li>Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, Dentrix or similar platforms used for medical records management.</li><li>Knowledge of healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance and JCAHO accreditation standards.</li><li>Experience working within acute care settings or specialized clinics such as dental or veterinary practices is highly desirable.</li><li>Excellent understanding of medical terminology and clinical workflows to effectively support medical management initiatives.
