Prevalent Logistics Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to dispatch our Port Drayage Department. This role is responsible for coordinating efficient container pickup and delivery operations throughout the surrounding areas.The dispatcher will manage and schedule LA/LB port pickups and freight deliveries to ensure customer requirements and service deadlines are met. This position involves close coordination with drivers, terminals, and customers to optimize the utilization of drivers and equipment.The ideal candidate will focus on operational efficiency, proactive problem-solving, and delivering a high level of customer satisfaction across all accounts.This is a fast paced, deadline oriented position and the duties include and are not limited to:1st Shift: Start at 8:00am to 4:30pm<ul><li>Coordinate and check-in driver / carrier</li><li>Take pick up request and administer freight pick up process;</li><li>Make freight delivery appointments, as required;</li><li>Coordinate customer freight pick up and drop off situations</li><li>Make sure all paperwork is handled timely and correctly;</li><li>Answer phones/help in the office/customer care functions;</li><li>Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures;</li><li>Perform administrative functions necessary in the daily operations;</li><li>Enter data into current system(s).</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>A minimum of one year previous experience as a logistics coordinator import/export (Freight Forwarding);</li><li>High School Diploma or GED required;</li><li>Bi-Lingual a plus (English and Spanish);</li><li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in both English and Spanish;</li><li>Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals;</li><li>Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Port Dispatcher (Full Time) - LAX1 Terminal

Trucking company is seeking Part-Time Class A driver to become part of a growing, dependable, and reliable logistics solutions provider. Will be responsible for safely operating a tractor truck to pickup at LAX Airport terminals and deliveries within the 60-mile radius of the Los Angeles terminal. A minimum of 2 years class A driving experience is required.Qualifications/Overview:<ul><li>Must have min 2 years of verifiable Tractor Trailer exp for insurance purposes (Required)</li><li>CDL A (Required)</li><li>US work authorization (Required)</li><li>Consistent work</li><li>Same start time</li><li>Pay is weekly</li></ul>Available shift:<ul><li>Monday to Friday - Start at 0700</li><li>Sunday to Thursday - Start at 0700</li></ul>Minimum requirements:Applicant must be at least 25 years of age with at least two years verifiable Class A driving experience.Clean/insurable driving record with no more than two traffic violation convictions and no accidents within the last 2 years.Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.Able to lift 50 lbs.Duties:Pickup and delivery of shipments for our customers located in the LAX/Los Angeles Area.Professional, courteous, friendly, reliable.Comply with all DOT and CHP regulations.Perform pre-trip, in route, and post trip equipment inspections.
