Class A Driver (Local/ 1st Shift/ Full Time) - LAX2 Terminal

Trucking company is seeking Part-Time Class A driver to become part of a growing, dependable, and reliable logistics solutions provider. Will be responsible for safely operating a tractor truck to pickup at LAX Airport terminals and deliveries within the 60-mile radius of the Los Angeles terminal. A minimum of 2 years class A driving experience is required.

Qualifications/Overview:

• Must have min 2 years of verifiable Tractor Trailer exp for insurance purposes (Required)
• CDL A (Required)
• US work authorization (Required)
• Consistent work
• Same start time
• Pay is weekly

Available shift:

• Monday to Friday - Start at 0700
• Sunday to Thursday - Start at 0700

Minimum requirements:

Applicant must be at least 25 years of age with at least two years verifiable Class A driving experience.

Clean/insurable driving record with no more than two traffic violation convictions and no accidents within the last 2 years.

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Able to lift 50 lbs.

Duties:

Pickup and delivery of shipments for our customers located in the LAX/Los Angeles Area.

Professional, courteous, friendly, reliable.

Comply with all DOT and CHP regulations.

Perform pre-trip, in route, and post trip equipment inspections. Keep trucks clean and fueled.

Follow company procedures for documentation of pickups and deliveries.

Follow all company safety policies and TSA Security requirements.

Communicate with dispatch all delays, exceptions on cargo, waiting time, and mechanical issues.

Promptly report all accidents/incidents involving company equipment to management.

Perform other company duties as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
