Through initiatives including education programs on abuse recognition and reporting for both children and adults, evidence-based home visiting support for parents, and more, Prevent Child Abuse Utah is dedicated to this vital cause.Overview The Nurse-Family Partnership Nurse Home Visitor provides comprehensive home visiting services to low-income, first-time mothers from early pregnancy through the child&rsquo;s second birthday. The nurse works to improve maternal and child health, support positive parenting, and promote economic self-sufficiency using the evidence-based model developed by David Olds.Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide regular home visits to enrolled pregnant women and families according to NFP guidelines.</li><li>Assess maternal, fetal, and infant health and provide health education and counseling.</li><li>Promote healthy pregnancy behaviors, including prenatal care, nutrition, and substance-use prevention.</li><li>Support parents in developing positive parenting skills and child development knowledge.</li><li>Screen families for mental health, domestic violence, and social service needs, and make appropriate referrals.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation and data entry in program systems.</li><li>Collaborate with community partners including healthcare providers, social services, and early childhood programs.</li><li>Recruit and maintain a caseload of 21 families.</li><li>Participate in ongoing training, reflective supervision, and program evaluation.</li><li>Maintain program fidelity to the Nurse-Family Partnership model.</li></ul>QualificationsRequired:<ul><li>Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.</li><li>Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.</li><li>Experience in maternal-child health, public health, pediatrics, or obstetrics.</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and ability to travel for home visits.</li><li>Strong communication, assessment, and relationship-building skills.</li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li>Public Health Nursing experience.</li><li>Experience with home visiting programs or case management.</li><li>Experience working with vulnerable or high-risk populations.</li></ul>Work Environment<ul><li>Community-based position involving frequent home visits.</li><li>Combination of field work and office documentation.</li><li>Work with supervisor on remote and in office work requirement schedule</li></ul>Salary &amp; Benefits <ul><li>Competitive salary based on experience</li><li>Health, dental, and vision insurance</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Paid time off and holidays</li><li>Continuing education and training opportunities</li><li>Mileage reimbursement</li></ul>Pay: $35.00 - $39.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement plan</li></ul>Work Location: In person
